Since 2018, I have delved deeply into trauma work and its intersection with attachment wounds. Through my work, I have observed the profound impact that attachment wounds can have on our relationships. These deeply rooted wounds can manifest in patterns of behavior and emotional responses, influencing the way individuals navigate and connect with others. Understanding the intricate relationship between trauma and attachment has become a focal point of my therapeutic approach, allowing me to provide more comprehensive and effective support to my clients.

I accept Aetna, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, United Healthcare, and self-pay. I will accept BCBS soon.

WHY I CHOSE TO BECOME A THERAPIST
I remember when I was younger watching this movie from the early 2000s where this girl my age created a business by being a ‘secret keeper’ for the other kids in her neighborhood. I then found out you could do that for a career, and since then I’ve delved into the art and science of psychology, becoming fascinated with the brain, how our body reacts to stress, and it evolved into how I practice today. So, basically being nosy was what brought me here today, and I couldn’t be happier.

FAVORITE WAY TO UNPLUG AND UNWIND
I run a once-a-month book club that keeps me pretty occupied with the book of the month! I also love to go on walks with my dog after sessions.

FAVORITE QUOTE
Not my circus, not my monkeys! (Seriously, it helps with boundaries)

SOMETHING I’M CURRENTLY LEANING INTO
Sitting with myself and processing in silence, no distractions.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A THERAPIST
Right now, it’s those lightbulb moments. Those times when we are doing the work, and then someone comes to a realization. Or during the following session, someone says, “so I’ve been reflecting and I realized…” It’s my favorite phrase. That’s all you!
